The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Friday (November 28, 2025) arrested an assistant professor within the Uttarakhand Graduate Degree Examination paper-leak case.
The accused has been recognized as Suman, an Assistant Professor at Shaheed Srimati Hansa Dhanai Rajkiya Mahavidyalaya, Agrora (Dhar mandal), Tehri Garhwal. The company had earlier taken two different accused, Mohammed Khalid and his sister Sahiba, into custody for questioning.
“It might be recalled that the CBI had taken over the case on being transferred by the Authorities of Uttarakhand. The CBI had taken the accused personal particular person and his sister in police custody and carried out detailed investigation. After thorough examination of the accused and his sister…and analysis of the cell phones and different proof, the position of the Assistant Professor has come on file,” the company stated.
Based on the company, the assistant professor had assisted the accused personal particular person in fixing a part of the query paper acquired by means of his sister throughout the examination and despatched the answer to him.
